Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Trustro platform (“Trustro”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) at trustro.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

To use Trustro you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law.
• If registering as a Creator: hold an Instagram Business or Creator account (Personal accounts are not eligible for the verified analytics feature and will be rejected at the connection step).
• If registering as a Brand: represent a legitimate business or brand operating in India or conducting campaigns targeting Indian audiences.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information at registration and keep it up to date.

Creators connect their Instagram account via OAuth to unlock the verified analytics profile. Trustro pulls data directly from the Instagram Graph API — the data on your profile reflects what Instagram reports, not self-reported figures.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or attempt to circumvent the verification process.

As a Creator on Trustro you agree to:

• Connect only your own Instagram Business or Creator account.
• Represent your niche, content quality, and audience honestly; Trustro’s API-verified data is not a substitute for your own truthful self-description.
• Honour confirmed campaign gigs and deliver content on the agreed timeline and specifications.
• Disclose paid partnerships in your Instagram posts as required by applicable advertising standards and Instagram’s own policies.
• Not create multiple accounts to inflate reach or trust scores.

As a Brand on Trustro you agree to:

• Use creator analytics data only for the purpose of evaluating and executing campaigns on Trustro — not for building independent databases or selling data.
• Brief creators clearly, agree on scope before the campaign begins, and provide timely feedback and approvals.
• Make agreed payments promptly; once escrow launches, fund the escrow account before the creator begins deliverable creation.
• Not contact creators for campaigns outside of Trustro with the intent of circumventing platform fees.

Trustro operates as a marketplace connecting brands and creators. Trustro facilitates introductions, provides verified data, and will provide on-platform payment infrastructure.

Payments and Escrow (forthcoming): On-platform escrow-based payments are a forthcoming feature. When live, brands will fund an escrow account before campaign work begins; Trustro will hold funds and release them to the creator upon delivery confirmation by the brand, or according to the agreed milestone schedule.

Platform Fee: Trustro will charge a platform fee of 5% (plus applicable GST) on transaction amounts processed through the escrow system. This fee structure will be clearly disclosed before escrow goes live. Until on-platform payments launch, fee terms do not apply.

You may not use Trustro to:

• Post false, misleading, or deceptive information.
• Impersonate any person, brand, or entity.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the platform at scale.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or network.
• Transmit malware, spam, or unsolicited communications.
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable Indian law or regulation.
• Harass, abuse, or harm another user.
• Circumvent Trustro’s fee model by taking brand-creator relationships off-platform after initial introduction.

Trustro and its underlying technology, design, trademarks, and content are owned by Trustro and protected under applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from Trustro without prior written permission.

Content you post on Trustro (e.g. campaign briefs, messages) remains yours. You grant Trustro a limited, non-exclusive licence to use that content solely to operate and improve the platform.

Trustro uses the Instagram Graph API under Meta’s Platform Terms. By using the platform, you agree to comply with:

• Meta Platform Terms
• Instagram Community Guidelines
• Instagram’s branded content and paid partnership disclosure requirements.

You must not use the API data provided through Trustro in any manner that violates Meta’s Platform Terms, including using it to build competing products, to profile users without consent, or for advertising targeting outside of Trustro’s marketplace service.

Trustro is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the platform’s availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Instagram Platform Data is fetched from Meta’s API and displayed as received. Trustro is not responsible for any inaccuracies in data returned by Meta’s API.

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Trustro’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Trustro in the three months preceding the claim, or ₹5,000, whichever is greater.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or any campaign outcome.

You may close your Trustro account at any time from your account settings. Closing your account will delete your personal data and Instagram Platform Data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Sections on Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, and Governing Law survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Trustro platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
